Alexander Hamilton is most known for his role as the founding Secretary of the Treasury in the USA and authored the Federalist Papers. He unfortunately died from a gunshot wound he sustained in a duel with the then Vice President - Aaron Burr.
The interesting and action packed story inspired Lin-Manuel Miranda to create this Broadway masterpiece. From its premiere in 2015, Hamilton has been universally acclaimed.
Hamilton has a award-record 16 Tony Awards nominations and won 11, including Best Musical. The Broadway sensation, Hamilton, received the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Best Drama.
